About No Default

Privacy and analytics

We want to know whether the resource is useful without monitoring individual people or collecting the details of accessibility problems they investigate.

Website analytics

When enabled, No Default uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate visits, popular pages, referrals and website performance. Cloudflare provides this service without analytics cookies or creating individual visitor profiles. The browser contacts Cloudflare to send analytics measurements.

We do not add custom analytics events, identify visitors, record form contents, or send Investigation answers to analytics. The analytics script is deliberately not included on Investigation, Share an experience or Contact pages.

Analytics is disabled unless the website operator configures a Cloudflare site token. Some privacy tools or browsers may block the beacon, so any usage statistics are incomplete.

Feedback and contact

If you choose to submit feedback through the contact form, that is separate from website analytics. The form explains which third-party service processes the message before you submit it. Avoid including sensitive information unless necessary.

What we learn from the numbers

Aggregate popularity can tell us what visitors open. It cannot establish whether a task was easy, whether someone encountered a barrier, or whether the guidance helped. We will use feedback and user testing alongside analytics rather than treating page views as proof of accessibility.

Questions or corrections

Contact No Default if you have a privacy question or want to challenge how we describe the analytics.
